1. Introduction

This guide will help you change content on your Bharat Signage ad screens using a USB pen drive, as it offers a simple and portable solution for transferring files and configurations. You will also learn how to customize zones, set up Wi-Fi, and display date, time, and RSS feeds.

3. Creating a Folder for Content

Plug the USB pen drive into your laptop.

Create a new folder named bharatsignage on the pen drive.

Download the following files from Bharat Signage software:

Copy these files into the bharatsignage folder.

4. Setting Up Zones for Videos

Inside the bharatsignage folder, create subfolders named:

zone1 (for full-screen videos)

zone2 (for split-screen videos)

zone3 (for three-split screen videos)

Add your content inside these subfolders as needed.

5. Adding Date, Time, and RSS Feeds

In the bharatsignage folder, create a new Text Document file.

Name it RSS (all capital letters) and write your RSS message inside the file.

Create another Text Document named TIME (all capital letters) to display the time.

To rotate the screen to portrait mode, create another Text Document and write 270 inside it.

Use 90 for reverse flip.

Use 180 to flip the landscape.

6. Setting Up Wi-Fi

Select Setup option from Tab.

Enter your Wi-Fi ID and password.

Download the setup file and copy it to the bharatsignage folder.

Wifi will be connected automatically.

7. Installing Bharat Signage Software

Plug the USB pen drive into your Android Platform.

Use the remote control to navigate to File Browser.

Open the APK file and click Install.

8. Running the Content

After the installation, remove the USB and reinsert it.

All files (videos, RSS, date, and time) will start downloading to the TV.

The videos from zone1, zone2, and zone3 folders will play according to the screen split settings.

If you have created the RSS and TIME files, the ticker and time will appear on the screen.
